Old raleigh project

Hi ive got an old raleigh 10 speed
im toying with fixing it up n sticking a fixed rear in, trouble is the front is 26 and something, but theres no markings on the wheel and the tyres perished beyond being able to make it out
does anybody know what the size is, i googled it, utfs, etc and had no luck
also where can i get a tyre in that size

I just built up an old 72 Raleigh for my girlfriend and the tyres were 26 x 1 1/4" (597mm) Got my tyres on ebay.

Yes that size is correct.
26" x 1¼"

i think its an 88 one, it was an almost top spec when new, cos our kid was spoilt lol
are there any other sizes that fit or any modern makes available, id like to be able to run some decent tyres if possile
i defo have to buy a new rear so thatll be 700c, id love a near matched pair of good tyres without having to pay out for a front aswell
