Would be joining myself, but still building a Roberts lopro.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/nialldownie/sets/72157622554831622/Advise from lopro builders needed though, struggling to find a stem to fit down a 100mm long 22.2mm head tube. Velorution got something for me this week, but it leaves about 2" above the head tube, not what i wanted on a lopro.
Any stem advise ?

^^ Nice one Sam.
^Sorry kneeldown... I can offer ya zero advice, other than maybe to talk to a coupla shops : BLB, 14 etc.
Jim...I'll consult with Jamas. I know he'd suggested it.
Either day could be right for a bit of clowning around. -

tayeah its an issue.
You can do a home job where you slice the end off a quill stem and use a shorter bolt.
however its not ideal.
there must be some super short stems somewhere.
I had that exact issue.
hope that helped! -

Cheers eyebrows, Ive already hacked two stems down to size, but could never find a short enough bolt to hold the stem. The bolts I had were only threaded for the lower inch or so.
Anyway I greased and rammed the velorution stem in and it looks ok, not as neat as I wanted but good enough for now
Image011 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!I get a fixed rear wheel this week, so maybe ready for 24th...

take it to a good small hardware store, they'll sort you out with te correct thread type, and should have them in shorter lengths- the only issue is the allen key top, you might have to try a whole salers, or something....
But I think that looks good man, so no worries.
mine still looks out of place, trying a change round in a few days time.
