Doesn't make a lot of sense for frame makers to devellop frames lighter than that.
UCI doesn't allow bikes lighter than 6.8 kg.
What has the UCI got to do with it. I have no intention of entering any UCI controlled event and neither do 99.n% of any of cyclists.
I just like light bikes and as you agreed, 1200g is light for a track frame although nothing special when compared to the latest road frames. I can see your point though and there is no great need for superlight track frames when stiffness is a more important factor.
