arantrek, this question comes up alot, a wise answer to your question is only you can decide if its too expensive or not, you're the one who will be riding it, if you want it hang the cost, if cost is all important you can find something else for cheaper.
Personally its not really a question that needs to be answered by us, you'll ride the bike, you'll make the decision, what are we needed for? To validate your decision one way or another?
