hey, thanks for the reply Skully. deffo not too fussed about the colour - prolly the least important aspect for me, and just a coincidence that those were red.
i saw that Roberts frame, and it's decidedly gorgeous. though £400 was a just bit toppy for me.
although now i'm ex-nursery i may just try my hand at this PM business to see if it's still about.
hadn't heard of retrobike and ctc so will give those a whirl as well. already glad i posted (though getting very little done this morning as a result).
