I think all of 'em are prone to interference, so a spin under some pylons can have yer max speed up to 90+mph, or yer heart rate up around the 250 mark.
I've always used Cateye, though for no particular reason really

I quite like my Knog NERD, as I can move it between bikes really easily,t has a good backlight, one button operation (push the screen) ..and it's Red

I'd recommend my NERD as it has never been interfered with but I've got to send it back cos the backlight has never worked, so reserving my full judgement for NERD mkII.

Does the Knog NERD have auto start/stop as found on Cateye?

Yes I'm pretty sure it does, it only has one button - and thats to flick through the modes

Mine too. Easy to set up, robust, seems to work in the wet and isn't susceptible to interference.

Polar cs100 is about the same price if you want a HRM too.

Sigma = shit.
I have a Mavic Wintech and have been really pleased with it. The sensor is a neat set up and the cadence has worked well. I'd say that it was worth the money.

cateye strada wireless - simple,robust and interference free
Was tempted to get the double cadence/wireless one, but the fit can be tricky. Also if you accidentally knock it out of place with your foot whilst riding, it is prone to getting mashed in the wheel.

Just recieved from I got cheap of US EBay. Really easy to set up and use. Has'nt missed a wheel turn yet. Now also available in red for those that want something faster and white for those that want to 'pimp it'.
(I bought white :S)

I have the cheapo wireless one that C+ raved about. Drove me mad. I just could'nt get it to work properly, and after mashing my fingers a few times trying to adjust the sensor while riding (I'm admittedly a bit thick), I've given up on it. The Cateye Strada is soooooo much better.

Will the Cateye Strada wireless with cadence's wheel magnet fit on flat spokes?

Yep. It's the sensor/transmittor that's a little hard to fit though. Unless you have nice round chainstays it's not a problem. If you have big oversized carbon or angular stays then it's a bit of a pain. I ended up using both the zip ties supplied and a bit of electrical tape to keep it all in place.

I use mine with the bladed spokes on Aksiums. You'll be fine.
