I know some people that run a community bike workshop at a social centre in elephant & castle - they're always happy to get stuff..
Or alternatively, re-cycle is pretty good, although i'm not sure how useful Pro Races would be on African roads

re-cycle is not a charity and they are dodgy as fck
-

they're on charity commission website here ... are you thinking of the same thing? theres a bikeshop in elephant called recycle which sells shitty bikes for £120 and i agree is dodgy.. but thats not related to the charity as far as i know...
or do you have reason to say re-cycle is dodgy? (i'd be interested if there is reason) -

thats cool, i used to think they were ok in there and then they wanted to charge my 10 quid to fit a new brake cable. WTF! then i realised what a shitty place it is
I wuold however highly recommend the bike workshop in e&c i mentioned above.. they let you borrow tools for free and sell stuff for cheap (eg 1.50 for inner tubes) or donations.. and its linked to a food coop (vegan organic) and social centre with literature etc. and is full of nice people! unlike recycle round the corner

I work at the London Cycling Campaign and we have community projects all over London who could make good use of the tyres. Let me know the best way to arrnage if they have not gone already.
Thanks

They are yours if you want them. (Sorry everyone else who expressed an interest).
Can you let me know your email address so I can arrange delivery of them? It's probably best to PM (private message) it to me on here. Thanks.
I've a job lot of three pairs of Michelin Pro Race tyres that have been sat in my shed for the past two years that I'm not going to use. They are all used but should have a fair few miles left in them. They are all 700x23c.
Does anyone want them? I'd rather they went to a good cause so if anyone has links to a cycling related charity or community project then let me know and I'll pass them on.
