Interesting comments about sealskinz, I am considering getting some.
I have Endura overshoes (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Endura_Road_Overshoes/5360020535/).
They are very good at keeping the feet warm, but in heavy rain for over an hour they let in water
