I've got an Endura eVent jacket. Had it for three years and it works fine for all conditions from summer rain through to -4 degrees and snow. Just vary the base layers.
Also, it's managed to survive a couple of bad crashes. Worst damage it sustained was a small hole similar to a cigarette burn. My skin, on the other hand, looked like I'd been attacked with a cheese grater. Still not sure how that worked.
