There was a nice feature in the comic recently about him and his sons.

dave creasey at herne hill was singing the praises of one of his sons that had been at the track a couple of weeks previous. i think he said that it was the boys first time on the track but he could already see the pedigree so to speak .

Thinking about it, Lincoln's doing the interview so it would be cool to shut the shop 5 min early and sneak down
-

Ah, I kept on forgetting to hunt for this on here. If I'm free tomorrow I'd love to attend... do we know whether its sold out yet?

I left the Riverside screening wishing they'd given Maurice more opportunity to talk, he seemed to have loads to say...hope I can make this..

Thanks for posting this, Oliver. Now news of this has leaked out onto the internets, I'd be getting there earlier rather than later if I wanted to be sure to get in. They are not answering email requests for tickets. Not a good sign. And Lambeth don't have the best reputation for organisation. They've probably allocated the man a broom cupboard for his audience. I just heard his shop team (De Ver) can't get seats!

A mate tried to get tickets this morning and the event is 'sold out'.
-
• #17
they did say on the phone earlier that it was fully subscribed ,,, but its still worth trying if you havent recieved your ticket confirmation as yet.
-
• #18
Yes, I did think I'd post it up as a public service--sadly can't go myself.
-
• #19
Oh, and I'd love a report from the event if anyone on here is going.

if i can get a tape recorder in i'll do a recording, convert it to mp3 and host it somewhere with some pics. there are lots of maybe attached to this idea so please dont hate me if it doesnt come together.

I will dust off my analogue sony dictaphone thing and see if it still rolls, but I just can't think of where I have any full-size cassettes. If anybody coming along has a digital recorder with a fat memory, that would be a better option - would make the conversion to mp3 or mp4 a lot easier too.
Aside from Coppi Productions taking it all on, any offers?

I am attending and I have with me my Mp3 player, Cowon Iaudio, it has a voice recorder function, I just checked and it seems that I have 9 hours left to record on the HD... I don't know if there is a size limitation for the file... Lucky enough my batteries are fully charged today
I tried a minute ago and the built in microphone is a bit crap, you need to be very near... There is a Line In mini jack input put I don't know if it would take a external microphone like this one, if someone could bring one...
Hope this could help...
