My Blackberry took several direct hits in the rain a couple of weeks ago. My girlfriend gave me her spare phone to use until the insurance/warranty sorted themselves out. The warranty dudes at Carphone Warehouse said that because it got wet they'd do nothing about it and the insurance company said pretty much the same thing. Life has ground to a halt because I have to keep finding somewhere to check email.
Someone on here must have had an upgrade recently. I'm due a new phone in February, but can't wait until then.
