For Sale: Giant Aero Wheel Unique - £150

its not "unique" though, as I have one too, and a rear to match it too...... I'd think I was fairly lucky if I got £150 for the pair....and mine are as near a damn it, new

I'm buying. Who of you would like to sell me that front wheel, and what is the "new and better" price?

I don't have one, but I would say: a tenner.

I have spare spokes though, I use them for stirring paint, etc.

Anyway: nothing wrong with the front wheels. Nothing good either, except for the funny looks and corrosion resistant spokes.
The rear wheel is a different story. The freewheel and bearings need some maintenance (cleaning, lube).

Keep checking the spoke tension.
Usually a bit too low.
But be careful that you don't overtighten them. Especially the black FIR rims may devellop small cracks. And they're out of production.

i might want to buy a couple of your spokes to have in spare, if someone here will sell me that front wheel. How much do you want for them?

The thing is, I don't know how the length of these spokes is measured.
Maybe it's printed or embossed. I hope so.

The woven carbon hubs are Giant EXT, with carbon (or i've been told graphite) spokes onto a rigida aluminium rim. Apparently they were designed by Mike Burrows in the 90's and he set a land speed record on a pair of these wheels. To adjust the spokes its with a 3mm alan bolt inside the rim. The freehub is removable. They are Shimano 7/8/9 sp compatible.
