Thats a shame! Lovely gift.
Pashleys are heavy for anyone, but with that style of traditional solid town bike you hardly notice when riding. They just feel sturdy & comfortable.

I'll be there too on a Sunday, DFP is right, any dutch/town bike is heavy either way, it's only when you ride it, you'll hardly notice the weight (unless she like to cane it around town).
