hey Kingcutter, just had my vigorelli delivered from BJ on monday this week and its mintynice, although the paint finish isn't quiet as good as I'd hopped but they seem to be very busy with orders for these, they managed to do mine in 3 weeks rather than the 6 quoted. Build has started today :)
Campag campag campag, shi___o make fishing gear for christ sake!

Agreed on that, there paint jobs have been hit and miss on the 15 or so frames i have seen. Seriously avoid the matt finish, i scratched one on a buildup with my FINGER NAIL! and i would generally consider myself to be a careful bike builder.
hope im not pissing anyone off whos got one on order...

nowadays with the price of Shimano campag is a much more viable option. Both will offer excellent characteristics in there own right....

Buy british, Royce ftw

There's nowt wrong with Shimano. While most seem to advocate one or the other, I think they both have good points. They're quite different though I think.

I'd go for the one you want.
Has making up one's own mind completely gone out of fasion?

He's only asking for opinions, I'm sure he's more than capable of making the final call himself. Why so grumpy? I for one like to make educated decisions and hear what others have to say.

It's just time-wasting. A displacement activity for putting your brain into gear, and then putting your money where your brain is.
Nothing wrong with educated decisions, but surely all the opinion you need about Campag vs Shimano is out there already?
Not really grumpy. Bored though.

Maybe he's right Kingcutter, maybe we should stop wasting time talking about bikes and shit. Engage your brain and make a pragmatic decision. Hmm, so, anyone got any wisecracks?

Pragmatically speaking, this post says, "you'll just have to make up your own mind".
We're not so different, you and I.

You did that in a day? It's taken me three months to decide on 'bland green'. Good going.

You're not the long-standing fixed (or SS, maybe) rider in the Whitecross St/Shrewsbury Ct barber, are you?

What are they, Hippy?
So I have put my order in for a BJ Vigorelli, not sure whether or not to use Campagnolo or Shimano I like the look of Campagnolo but also like the feel of Dura Ace,also saddle wise Brooks or Concor thanks for your views.
