  • You got another one?? an identical one to the one you have?

  • yep!

  • are you going to put a 3 speed fixed hubs on it? or is it to prey theft away from your original bike??

  • Must love them, innit!

  • Nice, I like it. A couple of small changes have taken it from a normal bike to a nice classic racing machine.

  • speaking of gazelles, i picked one up last week, had quite a bit of rust on it been polishing it for a while

  • lots of fit gazelles on parade today.

  • Plastic Pedals

The bosses should unscrew from the frame making them a little less obtrusive

Be careful of the rake on your replacement forks , It might stretch an already long wheel base.

Need to see more Vintage mtb frames fixified

  • New build to my quinn, same wheels though.

  • Cheers Scott, I'll have a look at that when I get a chance

the new forks have either the same or less rake. Just need to chop an inch off the steerer, get a new seatpost so I can fit my Turbo, match the tyres up... this is going to look shit hot

  • :)

Ebay bargain? I remember that a couple of months ago, £165 or something. At that price, why not have two :-)

  • I'll get my thinking hat on for a route with a 1990s theme.

The TdF route from '94? It went from Dover to Brighton. God knows where you'd find the route though, although I remember it passing through (I think) Forest Row, as Sean Yates was allowed off the front to greet his family, and up Kidds Hill.

Andy, I'm sure you know all this anyway!

Matt, thank you! I'm not finished, just a lack of cash at the mo.

Thanks for that Ed. I do need some new rubber, when I have a few spare quid I may well take a look at them.

OLMO GOSH - s'a beauty Sam.

  • Seeing as it's Gazelle day:

I've added drops, clipless pedals, and a new seatpost since. I should take a new photo.

  • work beautifully too, perfectly fine on a track frame with no cable guide whatsoever (zip tie thought).

a zip tie will not work, you will need a hose clip/jubilee clip or something similar, the spring inside is quite strong and you will get engagement problems.
