awesome - i've heard of people doing similar things. its pretty extreem but it points the way to maybe a more balanced life style.

well yes i realise that there is a massive bike market feeding consumers' bike related desires but it doesnt have to be that way. you pay for the bike, and odds and ends to maintain it, but basically you can fix it and keep it going yourself.
