Black men can't swim

When I went to Mauritius, I noticed that a lot of the locals can't or won't swim, apparently it is because a lot of them are brought up to fear the sea

In Ghana they don't fish on Tuesday because of Mami Wata. They believe she will seduce you into giving up your boat or seduce you into the water. They also won't even let you go swimming in the sea on Tuesday.
