On Kingsway a guy riding fixed, no clips or straps, in shoes with his laces undone and bootcut jeans flapping against his chain.
I gave him some friendly advice at the lights about his impending death and that he should at least tuck his jeans in his socks till he reached a place of safety and buy some clips etc. which was taken on board pretty well I thought.
"Thanks, I haven't had it long and I wondered why my foot got pulled off the pedal passing that bus back there. I'll sort that out."
Then he rode off again without even tying his shoelaces.
