Audiophiles hifi appreciation thread old and new

Indeed - there is a certain school of thought that Audiophiles basically have a defect in there brain which doesnt "fill in" the music like it does for most people, thus sending them on a riduclous and unreachable quest for audio nirvana

Either the above, or its just more big boys toy, just like with bikes.

I came within 5 seconds of ordering a titanium seatpost for my road bike today. Then reality hit, and I reasoned that I was only buying it because it was Ti and Ti is cool. I did not click "Confirm Order"
