  • The Bike has now Sold

ok i bought too many bikes and have lack of space so i am selling my georgeous clubman.

its a 1984 (no 184 to be exact). really good condition here is all about it: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread28626.html

price wise i would like to have £250

a butchered one went for £200 http://www.londonfgss.com/thread29333.html, and an ok one with campa wheels went for around £300 http://www.londonfgss.com/thread16085.html so i think £250 is a good price for mine.

the condition is superb and everything is like it left the factory, just chekc out the other thread. If you want it singlespeeded, no problemo.

    collection from hackney preferred.

    cheers chris

  • Complete and utter bargin.
Want but cannot even contemplate it right now. Good luck.
I rebuilt a late 50's carlton clubman this spring, spec almost identical just considerably earlier equiv. Ended up costing as much as this is up for and it certainly wasn't factory fresh like this one

  • Tempted to buy this for my bruv.

Thing is, he's starting to think he wants to join the brightlycolouredfixefiddler revolution. Gaaah! I'm persuasively attempting to steer him towards something more befitting of his years (40) such as this.

    I'll get back to you.

  • hey mr c, i'd like to have a look and first dibs on that please!

  • Doca: second.

  • Hi Andrei (d0ca),

Skully did post before you so i will have to let him have first dibs, but you are welcome to have a look. i can cycle it to work tomorrow and we could meet up again.

    cheers

chris (already slightly regretting this move)

  • i know skully beat me!

  • ps, i didn't see his post until after i'd posted tho...

  • what is the top tube length on that clubman?

  • doc

My bruv's gotta see it, sorry just trying to get in touch with him, he's in a lecture, probably til 5.

You're in with a good chance though, he's a procrastinator. I will recommend he buys it but it's up to him.

    Let you know shortly.

  • I have just done one of these up, looks fab

and it is a truly ace ride.

  • skully, no probs, i'm happy to wait (i'm busy tonight anyway) and you did get in there first, i know the game ;-)

  • Ed I measure it tonight, seat tube is 57cm cc.
