Saw a VERY near miss today.
Heading south on Edgeware road in LH lane I stopped behind a Murpy's 7.5 tonne truck which was in pole position at the lights. Spotted a girl creeping up the inside (shock horror - wvm using mirrors when stationary!) and as she came up inside the truck the lights changed green and the truck started moving off and proceded to turn left. Luckily the driver must have spotted the girl and anchored up and she wobbled out of the way BUT she was inches away from disappearing under the rear wheel. One very lucky lady!
I did not get the truck's number or I would have rang Murphy's as the driver had failed to indicate but the girl should not have got in that position in the first place.
Not guilty of any of the above ^^^
