I'm interested in this bike.
Just checking that you mean 49cm.

Yep CM, sorry, typo not thinking straight.
I think it was £1300 new, I'd have to check with the guys at Condor because I don't remember. I know they put it together as a one off piece with the small part chromed frame etc and I happened to walk in just the right size with my eyes glazed over and had to have it. Needless to say my motorbike has taken over and honestly I'd be surprised if I'd done more than 50-75miles on this in the last year.
I'd struggle to choose an asking price, feel free to make decent offers, bear in mind it's practically new.
Thanks

rjbex, if you want to get back what you paid for it, you'll have to part it out, just because you haven't ridden it and you feel its as new, doesn't get over the fact its second hand. You should have a price in mind when you post stuff up in the classifieds, otherwise this could just turn into a bunfight over how much it should cost, or it'll just be ignored because people don't know how much you want for and they won't offer anything.
Be prepared to not get anything close to what you paid for it.
But if you do, fair play to you...think of a price, post it up, be willing to negotiate and best of luck with the sale...

Alright keep your hair on - Its hard to pick a price when you dont really know what they go for thats all.
I'm not looking to get back what I paid and am fully aware that its second hand, I just assume people have the common sense not to offer £200.
Anyway, fair point, so I'll say £900 shall I and wait for the abuse to start :)

rjbex, I know the t'internet and the written word make nuance, meaning and tone of voice difficult, but I'm wondering where me offering you some helpful advice, causes you to tell me to keep my hair on.
good luck with the sale, and hopefully you won't get abused too much...

Meant as lightheartedly as possible, again tone unknown via tinterweb and like I said fair point indeed.

It's pretty much the same info that Mr. Blackfoot has already given you, but with some additional stuff. It should give you a feel for what the forum expects from sales and explain the comments.
Too small for me but if it comes in at an interesting number, it could be of interest for someone else. Good luck with the sale.

read the post musikism.
rjbex - it might help justify the price if you listed the components etc? I'm not saying it's not worth it, but you're not doing yourself any favors here!

Hi,
I'm a she not a he. I'm not sure of the parts to be honest I'm no bicycle expert by any means. I'll try to find out what the parts are, as I genuinely don't know.
Thanks

looks like the standard condor build, Miche cranks, deda stem, condor/tektro brake levers, maybe Condor goldtec hubs?

nimhbus said, the part are standard (apart from the pedal and saddle), you can check it out there - http://www.condorcycles.com/classicopista.html
the exception is that the frame geometry is slighty more relaxed (since it is a custom build) as well as adding the chrome, paintjob etc.
While £900 seemed reasonable, I think £850 would be a good price.

components low/mid range...
frame worth looking at?
http://condorcycles.com/classicopista.html
needless to say that classico pista [nickel plated with campy pista wheelset on] on display at the condor much tighter and........i know it is optional and it is nor drilled and etc.
if i was to pay that money for pista classico i would go to condor and get measured up... that is only my perspective...
neverless good luck with the sale !!!

Actually £750 doesn't get you a custom fitted frame, just an OTP one.
you'd need to pay extra for a custom-fitted one.

Sell the scooter. Problem solved.

thanks thats helpful.
Looks like those parts are right as you say except pedals and saddle, also straight chromed front fork.
Hardly used and literally immaculate - about one year old now, bought new from Condor November 2008. Always been kept indoors and is very well looked after. Theres one little chip on the frame I just noticed but thats it.
I'm not dying to sell, but several months back I bought two wheels with an engine in between and since then this one hasn't been touched.
I adore the bike, but I'm really not using it and in fairness have hardly used it since owning it, so will consider selling for sensible offers - please drop me a reply or PM if you think you are interested. Based in London N7. Ta
