Search, it has been done on here before.
Why you'd want that deadening lump of shit attached to your bike I don't know.
I have one and the last place I would want it is tied to the frame making the bike heavier and less responsive.
I just stick it on the hip or in a bag. -

I think on the hip is a very bad idea, if there is an accident, that lock is gonna hurt you alot, probably break your hips.

I'm of the same school of thought on this, hence I just throw the hefty chain in my bag, behind my armoured laptop case, which is nice and bouncy should I land on my back, protecting me from the lock :) I also have a d-lock holder on the outside which is very useful!

I think its dangerous and uncomfortable on the hip.. the bag fair enough but I carry a bag maybe half of the time so what then? Personally I don't notice any performance difference on the frame, obviously the weight is a big issue but whats the difference if you're carrying it instead?? Only problem I have with the on the frame is the rattle, hence the straps idea..

I've got one of the frame attachments for the mini-D sitting on my desk, where it has been for over a year. Anyone want it?

can't find any pics online - reckon its for a different lock as there's no attachment on mine anyway.. thanks for the offer though ;)

Attaching d-locks to frames is dangerous, specially relying only on those Velcro straps.
Imagine that shit bouncing off, directly over the cranks.... now that must be fun. -

I've got a fahgettaboudit NY3000 (the full size one) holder that came with mine. Anyone wants it, it's theirs if they can collect from Borough.

Reckon Tomasito is talking about the evo mini-D, which won't work with the fag.
The fact that Kryptonite supply frame mounts with some locks and not with other (more expensive) ones speaks volumes IMO.

Dylan made (or had made for him) a frame holder UTFS and you'll be able to find the thread. I carry mine attached to the frame too as I have nightmares of busting my hip by landing on the fug

Crazy... It seems I am starting to need a holder for my New York Fahgettaboudit U lock... I don't think I got one when I bought it... unless I stupidly threw it away with the packaging... which is not beyond the realms of possibiltiy....
But I'm looking for a bike lock holder to attach my lock to my bike!!! anyone know where I can purchase such a thing? Not too crazy about carrying it in my bag cause it ways a tonne and when I put it round the handlebars it squashes the brake cable (not a good thing I am sure).
