Boardman road bike anyone?

If you're looking for a cycle to work scheme and are restirced to Halfords, I know that people around here have got them to order in other bikes (I can't think remember the makes, but I do remember that it was really good stuff that you wouldn't expect to ever associated with Halfords). I imagine they could get Specialized stuff in easily.

Ahem, if it were me, I still wouldn't let them anywhere near it with a spanner though... ;)

We're restricted to Halfords too, but I gave the cycle to work scheme guys a ring, and handed them my HR departments details so that they could attempt to widen the sources of the bike shops (and support LBS etcetcetc). Really nice chap who I spoke to who genuinely seemed keen to try to get companies to use more smaller shops and not just Halfords.

Haven't chased it up yet, but might be worth a go.

On your C2W scheme documentation there should be a number that you call and you can ask them if they can get a certain model of bike in, I did this when I ordered my Cannondale SS leftie and Halfrauds use Leisure Lake Bikes so it might be worthwhile checking their website out.

Just checked the documentation the number is 08450 778850 and it lists Condor, Dolan and Boardman as well.
