  • yeah but in mine dre's all like "you took my name in vain!?".. whereas in yours he's all like "you took my name in vain.. sigh"
    ..
    um..

  • Is the frame expected to survive that kind of use/abuse?

Its supposed to, but clearly it can't!

Check out 14's new trick frame/fork set, called the ESB, its amazing, the headtube and BB shell are made out of some metal thats stronger than T45, and the tubing is a mix of 631 and 853 Reynolds stuff, it looks teh awesomeness.

    um..

Nah man yours is all like "...so you took my name in vain? Fair 'nuff".

Mines all like "I saw what you did there.. I'ma kill yo ass".

  • hmm. dunno man.. i see where you're coming from, but clearly in mine Dre's all like "you made me all turn around and now i'm gonna fuck you", whereas in yours, he's all like "okay, we been chattin' nicely for a while so i respect that you guys called my name.. cos you love me .. and i know that ... s'aiight"

  • hmm. dunno man.. i see where you're coming from, but you made me turn around and now i'm gonna fuck you

    Oh sailor!

  • being a hattara owner thought i'd clarify.. of their 'track' frames, only the rocketroll uses italian threading... hattara and zengang frames have bsa threads..
hattara is an excellent frame.. looks like bareknuckle (taiwan prolly) but columbus all over compared to bareknuckle's columbus/dedacchi.. hattara has more of a street orientation with bigger clearances than the bareknuckle, and i'm not sure if bareknuckle has rear drilling?

anyway, lovely to ride. clearly shite for tricks ;)

I ride a Bareknuckle, it's the D's B's! The Hattara and the BK are almost identical except for the point made above. It is rear drilled and it tough as old boots.

I ride almost everywhere on it, do tricks on it, do longer rides on it, and I love it!
As they aren't making the BK anymore the GOrilla is the next best thing, and I love their curvy trick frame, but that photo is a bit worrying!! And yes it has MAD toe overlap, but hey, i's all about tight clearences no?

  • Any front drilling on the hattara and zengang frames? Also, what is the name of the curvy Gorilla?

  • I knew it... it wasn't a mistake. see what I did there!?

    certinly do ... nice feature

not mega tight by any stretch, except when i put a rando on it.. squeaky! and it's lighter than my old langster, even wij steel drops.. got a pic of your bk on your profile i wonder..

Somehow I doubt the bareknuckle frame is lighter than a langster.

  • hey ed.. sorry fella, i wasn't clear.. was talking bout me gorilla :)
would like to feel the diff between the bk and the hattara atchally..

  • Even so I still doubt a steel Gorilla frame is lighter than an alu Langster frame.

  • hmm.. yeah, might be psychological i spose! hm.. i sense a weigh-off brewing.. somehow

  • Langster - 1500g(ish)
    Hattara - 1900g(ish).

  • okidoki.. yepp.. concur with your numbers.. langster frame much lighter than hattara.. what kinda heavy crap did i have on the langster,. i'm vexed now..

  • if you hasn't change anything on the Langster, the weight is usually due to the standard wheels it come with, they're usually quite heavy.

for a company video this was a massive disappointment.

For all those who want this gorilla trick frame - prototypes were made by Mr. Ciöcc himself.

  • this fork??....

    ....or this one???

  • The gorilla rocketroll is a lugged track frame, with brake holes but no cable holes or stops.

    Phuc!

  • The orange one is lush! WANT! (but not for that price)
