Nuclear Weapons

The Iran missile thing has me thinking about nukes. Just broadly. Why some countries have them... Why some aren't allowed.... Whether we're going to have a nuclear war in the next 50 or 100 years... i know it's a pretty weak thin and obvious thing to say, but sometimes the world seems happy and shining, and other times it just seems destined to complete destruction.

anyway. who has thoughts on this stuff? What are they? Either general or specific.

Power trip, the powerful nations also have to always fight wars as not to be left behind.

They're for deterrence, no one wants a nuclear war, so no one will fuck with a country with nuclear missiles.

Wars are fought at news desks as the media drip feed you the information they want you to know, while deals are made between arms manufacturers and world leaders on Golf courses.
