Birmingham Half Marathon Ride

Related, but not as good fun (p'raps) - Cov Half Marathon is looking for volunteers to marshall via bike - basically covering a zone of the course. Reply here / message me if interested. There's lunch provided. It is on the same day as the above though, so maybe stick with the Brum option, as Cov is a 7.30am start for marshalls.

OK I'm in, but I've given up riding fast so I'll be at the tail end of the pelaton.

Race starts at 10am apparently. Road Closures might be in effect from 7.30am?

(Runners don't start at silly o'clock that's reserved for triathletes and cyclists).

i would defiantly be up for this.
im new to riding fixed so i would probably struggle but seems like alot of fun!

i saw a sign as i was ridin down the pershore rd earlier nd it said the road would be closed from 1am till 3pm so i dont think we will have a problem.

7am start 5-10 min wait then we're leaving with or without you.
Some people are coming over from leicester to ride with us too.

The route is marked out by large white pillars with orange EDF flags, so keep your eyes peeled for them.

I refuse to believe that 7am exists on a Sunday.
