I'm not trying to put you off i swear, just make sure you cover all the angles before you drop that cash on them. Sounds like you can do it so i'll shut up now. I'm in the same boat atm, eyeing up a tandem i can afford, just means it'll be a lean month next month...
Oh, and maybe get measured up by a few different people/shops so you don't end up with a tiny frame(like i sounds 1 or 2 people have ended up with).
