JUst fitted a lusciuos set of red Veloflex paves on my miche/openpro's . No problems and no tyre levers of any sorts. Left the tyres out in the sun all day so were nice and warm, talc'ed the tube and tyre, slightly inflated tube then once it was in the tyre and the second bead was in the rim around half way round deflated the tube and eased the rest of the bead on till the last 8 inches by the valve. Used a hair dryer to heat the last bit of bead up and then pushed/eased it over the rim, job done and very sexy looking.................nice!!!!

veloflex tyres are brilliant, used by Tom Boonen in the Paris Roubaix, puncture protection is excellent in general.

Really best suited to a racebike used as such. ie not everyday etc
I'm going in the opposite direction to you, trialing a set of tub wheels on my commuter, after only ever using tubs on my track bike.
Race clinchers aren't very durable in my experience, didn't get around to trying Veloflex in the end, but the Pro Race 2's and Vittoria Open Corsa Evo CX's I have used lasted around 2-3 months
