I watched a couple of vids of us in the Rollas, couldn't believe how much spinning motion was going on in my head apart from my legs, oh dear!

I just captured the event, you guys actually made it happen! Yeah, there was something special about friday - everyone kicked it up a notch for the night.

top night. big thank to my rolla parter, nny, and gizmond for allowing me to take part in the racing! that was excellent.

The best possible start to an amazing weekend.

I rocked up to the rollas a bit later as we were playing polo and having post match G's, missed some of the qualifiers and didn't expect to be doing any racing at all.
Luckily I meet Gina on the front steps and asked if she was racing to which she replied yes but her partner hadn't arrived yet.
Rather than see her jilted on the alter I offered my services as her racing buddy.
A short while later as qualifiers were finishing up she got back to me and we formed the team Gina-G and the Replacement.
I was a bit nervous I'd let her down as I do next to no riding these days unless it is out to the pub to get hammered.
We qualified into the final 16 and got to have two more races before we were dispatched by Bonny and Clyde in true gangster fashion.
I was grateful to have gotten the chance to participate.

Two great teams, Tom and Jerry and The Professionals then set about demolishing their way through the remainder of those still standing.

The end match was a master class in roller racing with Tom and Jerry pulling out all the stops and roaring home to a sensational win with the crowd near screaming the roof off.

It was an interesting venue and the staff of proper East-end geezers must have be pretty amused by the whole affair.

Thanks to the organisers and to the documenters but especially to Gina for allowing me to have a spin.

This thread should probably be rated NSFW, those pictures of Jim are going to earn someone a written warning and a severe reprimand.

First time seeing RP on friday eve... absolutely wicked - though my legs don't move that quick. Great venue and nice to come to an event and try to guess the whos who of the forum. Had tom (of tom and jerry aka the winner) fly past us on sat eve round borough on our way back from the bff.

it was sooo much fun again!
Tom and anna were amazing (note my earlier prediction - bet none of you fools put money on that, did ya?!) - in fact, not to detract from the guys but the girls were excellent on Friday, the bar has been raised! wicked weekend all in all.
