yeah we are going to the smoke: team cream and fen boy three, en masse, to stoke newington via the kings cross train on sunday morning - time will probably be agreed tonight at the pub ride. plan i guess is to meet at cambridge station in the AM, get a group ticket, pedal from kings x to the polo tournament, and play all day, and be victorious.

if im not wrong i think its going to be a an 8 30 meet at the train station sunday morning

how was polo today lads? ive finally got my mallet together so i will probably be down at the court on tuesday, bearing in my coursework/homework haha.

also, how long are the lights on and how much do i need to bring? ive heard different things...

bbq tom, i have asked the court lady for lights from 7:30 til 9 to give us more play time, however this means the subs are now £1.50.

Today: what can i say...

Team Cream finally got their act together and played well, despite losing 2 and winning one. Thanks lads we're getting there. The first match vs Malice saw the Cream score two (against 5, but hey it was the first game), the second saw Creamers whip manchester 2 (ASBO?) 4:2 (awesome game i will remember), the lost vs a new team we hadn't seen, 3:0 up then got whipped 3:5...think i saw the opposing team take some pills that kicked in mid game.

Fen Boy Three DESTROYED the courts, and were playing very well. They are my new heroes. They beat Cosmic3 2:1 in their first match against them. They only lost the second game vs the magic3 cos Hayden was using a fucking shit piece of crap bike (mine).

Hayden had his bike stolen from the corner shop, then got a phone call from a hooded child saying he'd recovered it...and he got it back, for free, despite flashing some notes in his face. This made our day.

Other highlights included hanging out with Tom (Running bear), the stepper bikes, me T boning to make eddie look like a wimp, pistachios, baker making good use of his pompino and failing big style on the Blackfriars bridge (har har), pub for a swift half, and ozrams 'steal' of a find.

im really hoping my tutors think that my polo project has legs as i want to do this project pretty badly now.
even if they dont i think i might just come to the tourneys/london polo practise now. even claim im part of a team n steal someones bike n play a bit!

sounds ultra homo, but i do miss polo.
im back in cambs on wednesday for the hospital on thurs, but spending the weekend in london, so couldnt make polo. i might suprise you randomly one day though. maybe....

QUICK NOTE

lights on from 7:30pm til 9:00pm. court fee is now £18.50, so subs fee now £3 (not £1.50 above, don't know what happened there..). if you arrive earlier the 7:30, you can ogle the new netball team... har har
