Who's gonna win the worlds?

I recently found a bunch of cycling mags in my flat from six and seven years ago. The cover stars were Tyler Hamilton, Jan Ullrich, Roberto Heras...and Lance Armstrong. Guess what the 'cynics' were saying about them at the time.
I have doubts about Cancellara though his dominance isn't the main reason; he's another of Riis' proteges and another rider who I don't think has ever said anything convincing about being opposed to drug taking. The trouble is you just don't know anymore so you end up with a kind of sporting Pascal's wager.

i agree, i reckon he might like the drugs.
But, and this was more the point i was making - no one really minds because he's charming and popular and people want to believe in him more than they do in some others.
