Front end violently shaking

on one of my geared bikes had a speed wobble at 82kph, after I feathered the brakes. I now take it slower down that hill.
Check headset, if it happens again just try changing position moving weight forward or backward.
The common advice is that it will rarely throw you off the bike, justs leaves a lasting memory.
