  • He hasn't visited the forum for 6 days....

  • that's a long binge. hope he's ok

  • Long shot but he might be in America with @ltas? I dunno

  • Has he posted his phone number on here already, or did he send it to you privately? I realise he may have stiffed you over your purchase but posting personal information on the interweb is a bit harsh as a response.

  • £40 though.

  • i guess/hope he has a legit explanation, but if you have the time to go on holiday, you sure have the time to post a few records too...!

  • Even just time to inform the person that you're going on holiday.

  • maybe the name's a give away on his posting technique?

  • oh god why didn't i see that?!
i just hope he sees this at some point and a little tiny bell just might give a tinkle somewhere.

  • I'm sure it'll sort itself out, but you may have to wait a bit longer yet to get your "goodies" . Its not good form, fortunately its a rarity, I do believe you've done the right thing by advising others in a reasonable way.

Lets hope common sense prevails and the seller is full of apologies and life can move on.

If not, its off to Paypal for a refund.

  • thanks for posting my number up. perhaps you wanna edit that post?

your records are packed. as i said i have just started a new job, and am working awkward hours for getting to the post office (leaving home at 6am and not returning 'til 5pm) this saturday i am however free and will be posting your records

  • Alls well that ends well.

    Almost.

Funny really, I was reading through this thinking that the last post would be "the records have just landed on my desk", or something similar. Threads like this usually end up that way.

I got a set of bars from joe1983 last week, PMed him yesterday lunchtime as I was worried they'd been lost in transit, they arrived via Royal Mail 20 minutes later.

Moral of the story, if you want your goods to mysteriously arrive, give the seller a load of grief, they shall then appear..... :0)

  • Many post offices are open until 17:30, they are also open on Saturday mornings, you have lunchtimes as well.

You took his money quick enough.

If you want to trade on the Internet then you need to be prepared to be named and shamed.

Did you advise in your advert that you would take over a month to send it...no, thought not.

Sorry but you are taking the piss.

  • named and shamed?

you lot act like the daily mail or the mirror, then complain when they write in their papers giving cyclists grief.

what's this got to do with anyone but myself and jonas anyway?

  • You advertise on a public site, then you get public replies...simple really.

Still not answered why you couldn't be arsed to post it yet.

funnily enough, i've told jonas, and have posted above why. but i fail to see what it has to do with you? i don't even know who you are or why you feel the need to get involved with a problem between jonas and i, that i am rectifying.

    • lots
The information super highway is like really massive i hear, and people can like search it for personal info and stuff.

Well it has everything to do with us-its a bigger picture than you currently see- its a community, and peeps look after each other in various ways, and if a rogue is spotted, then its advertised to warn others to be aware of dealing with that person. The buyer having paid for the goods and the seller not sending them in a reasonable time amounts to fears of a rogue ie the rogue has walked off with the money, you'd have to agree on that perception here.

Now surprisingly rogues comply with reasonable behaviour, or they walk away, and some can be banned.

I do salute you for posting here, that does take bollocks in view of the deep concerns raised, and its great the goods are being posted, and all is being put right at last.

The bottom line is taking a month to send out stuff just isn't cricket, within a couple of days is reasonable. If you can do that in future, that would be great all round.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

  • hey gaz

i'm super happy that you are posting here (and that you are ok - got a little worried)
i'm looking forward to recieve the goods. and sorry for posting your info, i just didn't know what to do and asked for help/opinions. should be gone by now.

you being on here and posting my stuff in the end is really the best possible ending.

just got the amp back from mending today - really miss some new tunes:-)

  • +1 to El Diablo
CrazyJames might want to amend his quote if he's feeling charitable.
