I might be wrong but the 'gentlemens quick release' is actually an early gearing system. One lever to move the chain, the other to adjust the tension.
Nice thoIn fact, one lever really is a quick release, as the wheel has to be loosened to allow it to roll back and forth in the dropouts to automatically adjust chain tension when you move the chain from one sprocket to another using the second lever. There is no other chain tensioner on this early Campagnolo fixed wheel dérailleur system, unlike the more or less contemporaneous Osgear which had a freewheel and could therefore use a sprung tensioner on the lower run of chain

Yeah to be fair I think Tomity gets an exemption on this one!! He also gets an exemption for practicality porn seeing as he is a Keirin Racer, check out the thread on Keirin in Japan!
he does contributed to the forum which is another plus, unlike Don Walker if I may be frank.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong. In 1984 i don't think composite was that available for wheels (more technology for composite).
This was the first bike ever to have disc wheels (same as above), in 1984 by F. Moser.... they're aluminum
discs, made by Gipiemme. I saw replicas of them already. May use some sort of composite/fibre inside...
which I think not, but they're known as alloy wheels...am I wrong here?by the looks of it moser has an incredibly long torso.

My Kalavinka frame for Keirin race
Readers' wives, and anti porn thanks to the quill adaptor and unpleasant gold anodised parts.
@ mitre_tester: Don't matter, he can do what he wants, in fact I really dig that set up, looks fast as hell.
I will say yet again that Mitre, you use the approach of "I shall comment on porn, but won't post any myself for fear of ridicule" too much in this thread :0
