  • Oh and Porter, my brother from another mother....
Ride the wheels until they break, then get some beefy fuckers with wider tyres, try some wider bars (you have no idea what an awesome improvement this is for tricks), maybe some stronger pedals, but steer clear of going the micro-drive bmx style drivetrain route, this is a lot of extra stress on components on a fixed, you will fuck hub bearings really quickly, destroy BB bearings quickly, and chains/chainrings will wear out in no time at all, not worth the hassle on fixed IMO.

Oh yeah and get a 24 inch bike sorted, once you do your fixed will probably get relegated back to transport duties quickly enough and the odd bit of fun here and there ;)

Yea i won't be getting wheels anytime soon unless i see an unrestiable bargain! I need a new rear hub as the one at the momment has stripped the thread and not being able to resist quickly/skid is not much fun without brakes. I'll only be getting a new chaingring just down to a 44 more than likely. I've seen a few video's and that with people running massivley wide bars and couldn't understand why, it's definately not for the looks thats for sho, but i assumed it would make a big difference in handling. The 24incher will be purchased within the next month i can gurantee that!
