Pretty sure that's an urban myth, notes are different sizes for a reason.

That's right, but i do remember people doubling their money at a cash machine. It was the only logical reason i could think of.
But a google search tells me there were cases of machine giving two notes instead of one, when were cash machines striped of their ability to count..?
