BTW, I really wanted to put up a photo of a fat hamster on a wheel...but thought I would try and be slightly helpful

I have a 52cm Condor Pista you can have for £700. It's a bit small, but I think if you use some tape on it it will be fine probably.

really, I'm not looking for advice from the oracle that is lfgss, and I have read and seen the otp thread, so well done on getting in there quick.
I don't see the problem of asking if people are selling bikes on here? People are often selling bikes, this is posted in the wanted thread after all?
Go back to the "baby blue thread" to release whatever pent up frustrations you may have over the keirin certified calipers that you just can't source. -

Poor emilio.
Not yet able to crack the interwebz? I feel that way sometimes too.
So, your looking for a solid bike, you want an otp, you've looked at the otp list AND you've browsed through the classified section...and you are still confused enough to start a new thread?I feel for you mate. Sometimes I don't know whether to leave my flat by the door or the 3rd floor window. Life is hard.

Really? This one's easy--wherever you can say 'you are', the spelling has to be 'you're', as 'you're' is obviously just a contraction of 'you are'.
Example:
I really like your bike.
--You can't say 'I really like you are bike' and make sense, so that it has to be 'your'.
I think you're great.
--You can say 'I think you are great', hence 'you're' is the correct spelling.
Oh, and I've seen you use 'allot' a lot. 'Allot' should be 'a lot'--it doesn't have anything to do with 'allotment'. :)

NHAtt, I have looked at all the classified ads on the forum, done gumtree, marketplatz, and eBay (I am always on those sites). And there were none that were the right size/type/not stolen. I don't want to hear you opinions on bikes, which I know are vast and deep, I'm just asking people on the forum if they are planning on selling one in that price range. This is the WANTED thread afterall, and it is being spammed by people inflicted with the strange & vicious herd mentality that seems to rear it's head on this forum. Which always striked me as odd, considering how the acts of kindness/solidarity are really special, & all the people I have met have been well nice.
Perhaps the two are linked somehow, who knows? I love my pop psychology. But please get on with your clearly productive/fun filled days and evenings and let my thread in peace. Amen
Absolute budget: £400
Fujji track £399, but no brakes
Genesis flyer:£500
Charge plug: £460-500
Lagster; £450- 500So 2nd hand is the way to go it seems, anyone got any of the above for sale in a 56-58 ( and yes, I know they are different types of bike/geometry)

Thanks, that seems really cool, and we are in kilburn too. This is the stuff I need, I remember eyeing it up when I was looking for a bike. Unfortunately the max budget is £400, so if you could do that, we could pop down tonight to have a look.

My 08 Bowery will be for sale about this time next month. Completely stock and done a load of miles but plenty of life left. It's a Large (about 58-ish i think)
Way cheaper than the other bikes mentioned
Any good?

No, I'm always a Canadian witch.
So, I am looking for a nice, reliable SS commuter bike for my housemate so he can come on rides with my other housemate and I. Was thinking of something OTP like charge/langster/fuji (ideally a condor pista). This to me equals low hassle. I put together a bike for another mate, and it was nice, but I wish i was the one riding it after all the effort put in.
However if someone has something else interesting, which is no more than £400, and between a 56-58 please let me know.
Cheers,
Emil
