  • £280 Bought some phils laced to H+sons with DT's tires n lock ring about 2 month ago

  • Once again, i have £200.00 waiting. let me know.

my offer of 205 stands too ;)

  • £85 if you remove the glue residue

  • Well you see, thanks for your valuable input etc, but I remember what they cost, and I know how new they are, and therefore I reckon more than £275ish is fair...

That said, feel free not to buy them, that'll learn me...

£275 is too much and by you saying you want 'more than £275' I assume you want around £300!

You my friend are takin libertys

I don't think 275 is too much. Someone will pay 300 for these.

  • I'd like to meet him...

  • That's exactly what I'm looking for, but it's a bit rich for me.

  • Heavy as fuck, ten a penny rims on decent hubs that again, can be bought anywhere for less than £200

  • Alright, Phil's are heavy, but they're bomb proof. Non-descript rims aren't a great help, but £200 will get you the hubs anywhere else and nothing else. Then there are rims, spokes and build costs as well as tyres etc. £200 seems fair.

  • It says they a deep-v's. Around £70 a pair. £200 for the hubs, At least £20 for the spokes. That is £290 without the build cost. However they are still second hand, even if they have hardly been used I would only pay £200 for them. Thats how it is. Stick them on the bay, some mug will pay more than we will.

  • £400?

    +1

    Hipster tax on ebay

  • These guys are correct about the value. But hold onto them for a year and you might find you'll have people biting your hands off for what you currently want for them.... Or not.

I bought a slr saddle in November last year I White in goo condition for less than £30 they are currently going for 40-50. Market forces innit.

  • Hubs are up to £295, maybe more for the pair. Even on hub jub for silvers you are looking at £231 for a pair of HF silver hubs. If they did blk it would be more, more like £250.

    The rims are 80ish quid.

    Spokes about £15 a wheel.

wheel build £up to 50 per wheel.

I would say in all likey-hood unless the bloke built himself the wheels himself they cost him closer to £400. With tyres probably £450

Thus IMHO asking for £275 for the pair, given they have only been ridden 100 miles, and it includes tyres and i guess tubes is fucking good value and all you cheap skate miserable cunts should shut the fuck up and give the guy a break. Yes its possible to build these wheels for less if you get free/cheap spokes / wheel build and buy all the parts online, but in reality how many people do that? And if he has spent £400ish or more on the wheels then the guy has a fucking right to ask for 2/3rd what he paid. If you don't like the price don't buy it or make him an offer, but fuck sake don't accuse him of being a money grabbing so and so, when you all know quite how much these things can cost new. I mean fuck me this forum can be full of cheap skates some times. Just because you are on a forum and you want things at 40% retail price doesn't mean you deserve 'em.

  • well said

  • If only they had black spokes they'd be perfect,

  • Silver spokes are better.

  • fat people are better.

    Racist.

Where've you been taking your wheels at a build of £50 EACH!?? :-$

Last time I looked Deep V's were £30 each and to include tyres and tubes in the deal is par for the course as a 'freebie', shouldn't charge for them imo, same wih spokes

The buyer should just be paying for the wheel as a hub and rim set....or would you like to charge an extra £2 for the dustcaps too?

I find it hilarious that people charge for the build, spokes, tape, tube, tyres etc...

I sold a pair of perfect wheels(better than these may I add) - Phil Wood HF in silver on NOS Campy Omega V's for £200(I originally wanted £225). I charged for that and only that, I didn't charge for the extra costs that I incurred

Some people selling stuff on here take the piss and it's not about people(buryers) being cheapskates.

  • I guess for me it is pretty simple. I want £275ish. Maybe £270, maybe £290. I don't want £200.

And if that's too much, don't buy them. If it's not too much, and you want them, maybe you should buy them.

As for the rest, who gives a fuck?

  • OK mate, just don't forget to charge for the nipples

    ohhh shit they were NOS,man.....
and how long they were in use for??? over a year????

  • 6yrs and battered to fuck

  • A year old set of Campy Omega V's are stil worth twice as much as second hand Deep V's

  • if i remember correctly Pistanator..... you tried to sell me your Corima for £400.... which is a bit on the steep side.

give the guy a break... if you dont want them, dont buy them..... don't give him a hard time.... it's not like he's trying to sell a POS baby blue conversion for £600.

i think at least £250 would be a fair price.
