Dishing should not be an issue on front wheels, should it?
as dicki said, hollow axle QR vs solid axle / track nuts can be part of it. + rims will be brake / less --- clincher / tubular specific

Most wheel builders will tension a track specific wheel higher than a road one, so it will be stiffer out of corners, etc.

If not, then why do they make specialist front track wheels?
