It was a year ago today that I joined this here forum.
In that year I have built 2 fixed gear bikes, raced at Herne Hill, accidentally bought an old road bike, complained about many hills, gone to every compass drinks more than once, and a couple several times. I've been on many rides, some of them joyful, some of them solemn, some easy, some hard. I have won races and come last, I have lost inches off my waistline, and gained muscles in places I never knew I had.
But most of all I have had a blast, and met some of the most awesome people I would never have met otherwise, all of whom I am proud to call my friends.
