Wanted: H+Son Wheelset

Thought I might give this a try before I throw my money at BLB.
Anything H+Son preferably built up. Black, White or other.
Not too fussed but keen on hearing if someone has anything out there cheaper than new BLB build.

what have BLB quoted you? have been wondering what a H+Son wheelset would cost

I asked BLB for a quote for a black rear phil with H+ with black spokes etc etc.... they quoted something like £275 odd... which i thought was nuts

Black Phil Hub - £110 off eBay
H+ - £55-65 depending on where you buy it
Black DT Swiss Spokes etc - £30
Some nice chap to build it - £25

Yeah, I think someone bought a set of high-polish ones from BLB. Or maybe they were Velocity B43s. Can't recall.

I know the polished B43's are knocking about, not sure about H+

hmmm... i can feel a purchase coming on!

eighthinch.com have an own brand 42mm deep polished 48 hole rims laced to joytech hubs for 225 dollars plus postage. They look lush and are cheap even after tax and shipping. I can't insert the link as i'm posting from my phone. They're under wheels then julian. Hope this helps.

Yeah, H+ has got polished rims. but they're like £66 i think. who else sells h+ in london?

BLB are the UK distributor, so if they're selling em for 66 squid you aint gonna get em cheaper...

It's not a monopoly, they are just the UK (and EU for some stuff) distributer.

What i don't get is people going mad for these wheels, i had a H+ set from BLB laced to DA 7600, paid £45 a pop (rim), from the 1st batch.... they're shit. Nothing else to had.

I don't own one of these but heard the first batch caved in easily.... the newer ones are much stronger... apparently
