Didn't you just build a pretty nice trick bike as well?
The bmx above is a pretty sweet set-up, around a grand new I imagine.

Pretty much perfect, just way obove my price range. I'm looking £100 max, i understand it will be pretty hard to find the said brands for that price but i've seen a few for sale. Also if anyone has a 24" jump bike i could be interested in that instead.

You ride a Tricked out Volume Cutter
I used to ride a Tricked out Volume Cutter
I used to ride bmx, you want a bmx
I own two 24 inch bikes (one admittedly half/three quarters built)
You now want a 24 inch jump bike.I can't figure out if we should be hanging out drinking/riding....or if I need to be checking my underwear drawer to see if my superman boxers are still there.

I also used to ride bmx, sold it recently and wish i didn't
I also own superman boxers -

Could be above your limit, but open to offers

yeah bit over my budget, bit old skool for what i'm after, lovely looking bike though.

this might seem shameless, but if you buy alot of the bits second hand and separately and build it yourself you can easily get a decent bike for under 100. maybe 150 for more modern parts. also if you dont mind getting stuff thats a bit 2003-2005. bikeguideguide and bmx-forum are good. check out anything "thecaptain" (i think thats his name) has to sell. good rating.
look for alienation stuff. its all cheap ripoffs of more respectable companies, and everyone 'in the industry' mocks them for being a catalog manufacture company, but i needed a new front rim, and i got good quality (brake paint wear), as its pretty much exactly the same design as a odyssey hazard. 20 quid new, or 10 if you go second hand.
come in crazy colours too if thats your thing.

nice one, i'll bare that in mind but i don't think i really have the patience to build one up, just wanted one to mess about on. I'll probably go off the idea in a few weeks!

After trying out a 24inch bike yesterday i'm sold, so rather than starting another thread i'll use one. So i am now after a 24inch jump bike, single speed, front sus prefered. Dmr, revell, 24 seven etc. Budget wise looking at absoulute max of 350 much rather it be closer to 250. Not a massive budget i know but what have you got?
Cheers.

If you're intending on riding it for street I would strongly recommend you go rigid.
A second hand charge iron might be a good bet? -

do any of you guys have a seat post and clamp for a bmx? Possibly a stem? cheers.

I've seen a couple of nice 24" DMR's go for next to nothing on Gumtree over the past month. Some good deals on the Commencal Absolut Crmo online now too. Well worth a look.
