Bizarre altercation

I was driving (I know, but I need to at work - I don't own my own car) through a tiny market town. Stopped at red lights on a narrow street, and a couple of cars came past me, then a tiny car with three teenagers in nervously edged through as if there wasn't enough room.

When our windows were level he wound down his window, so I did too. He said something about being "a fucking foot away from the kerb, you four-eyed twat." I just grinned at him in amazement and did my window up.

Then the weirdness happened.

After I'd pulled away they chased after me, pulled to a stop in front of my car so I had to stop too, got out and came over to shout a bit more. I was completely shocked for a minute, did my window up and just sat there. I noticed they hadn't fully blocked the road, so just drove off around them. Weird. Bit shaken up, just wanted to splurge an explanation. And, relax.

Terrier mentality.

Tried to explain to my boss when I got in, he asked if the car was alright! Been trying to calm down, but still a bit shaky. Off to a friend's soon for a consolatory curry.

Not really, could be anywhere, this shit happens everywhere.

Having grown up in a market town - you were probably luck to get away... With little access to fun, drugs or culture random violence fills the void quite nicely for many.

well that doesn't really make sense VV because no one is born a teenager are they? you have to be 13, at least, to be a teenager, so you can't kill a teenager when they are a new born baby, if you see what I mean? you could kill a teenager but as I've said, not till that teenager was (at a minimum) 13, which is quite a wait really. and also i am not sure that violence is the answer, especially - if i understand what you are saying - this Herod-like approach of slaughtering infants. and that's not taking in to account all the babies that would die before they ever became teenagers so you'd be killing them needlessly anyway. maybe this is the way they do things in France, I don't know, though I have been there and I'm sure I saw a few young people in American style hats and coats.

That illustrates my point exactly nuknow; all VV's policy would create would be a generation of armed and highly dangerous toddlers and I don't think anyone wants to see that on Britain's roads.

Yeah, it's fine. They never got around to the violence part thanks to my cunning just-drive-away-through-the-gap-and-a-bit-on-the-kerb manoeuvre.
