Thanks for the advice! Must admit, the H+Son choice was purely aesthetic, liked the idea of something with a hint of HHSB and something black/deep section was where I went to. Other end of the scale is the Mavic Open Pro Ceramics but a bit too pricey for the time being. Sugino 75 looks nice though, thanks for that.
What are the benefits of high flange vs low flange hubs, or is that solely an aesthetic thing?
(As to what I'm going to do with it, for now it's a nippy commuter, but once liability and insurance gets sorted I'll salvage what I can of my old Bowery and turn this into a 'Nice Bike'® for days when I don't feel like gears. Or TT it)

Is that Edwardes frame alu? Apparently alu frames are less forgiving in the bumpity bump stakes so perhaps low flange is the way to go if you want something comfortable?
