A no-car day would be great, guess closest here would be London Freewheel but not quite the same and the "freewheel" bit seems slightly inappropriate :) A few months ago I remember London Bridge was closed for some reason but they left it open for peds, just cordoned off the road. That was quite a weird feeling as the bridge was totally empty apart from maybe one or two other cyclists, I just rode around in the middle of the bridge for a bit and did a couple of skids until the novelty wore off.
