You'll be very lucky. They pop up on america eBay every now and then. They usually go for about £250 a pair, but you will have to factor in postage and customs too.

How bad do you want them?

That's what i feared, i was hoping that there was some other local source that i'd over looked or that someone had a pair lying around without having to pay silly prices.
im not looking to use them for a period correct build so im not £250 desperate for them, i just really like the look of the NMSW and from what i can find the omega v seems to pretty light

sounds fair seeing as you were selling a pair laced to phils for £225 :-)

it is clinchers im looking for but not badly enough to pay £250 for them. i had it in my head that campyoldys price of 65 quid was their going rate so not really wanting to go much over £80

Shipping from NLthanks but sadly now that the hubs have been made and delivered i can only work with a pair of 32h

same as the above, its got to be a pair of 32h
Cheers for the responses

And that was too cheap
Supply & Demand, Supply & Demand....
I can gurantee you won't get brand new NOS Omega V's, 32h in silver ANYWHERE for less than £250. 2 years ago though....they'd have cost £60/£80 a pair

You should also look for Omega Strada Hardox, identical
-
• #11
If you don't need Campagnolo, Mavic CXP12 are also very, very similar rims.
NOS but there are some about.

i think you're probably right, its worth a shot though, campy oldy only ran out of stock a month and a half ago and that was at £65 but i think that that ship has sailed

ill keep the search open but is that also with the semi-aero profile?
failing all this could anyone recommend another lightweight NMSW rim that's available before i just go out and get a pair of open pros and be done with it.
Velocity aeroheads could be an option in terms of similar profile but obviously they've got a machined sidewall and ive heard mixed reviews about their quality control

Campag Vento going cheap.
Would love to buy this but sadly bank says no. -
• #14
also campyoldy does have these in stock:
Campagnolo OMEGA 6082 ALLOY T6 black 20mm wide 32, 36h £65.00
a quick google search seems to imply that the 'omega 6082 alloy T6' part is just whats written on the label of the rims. before i email him is there any chance these could be omega vs just listed differently or am i looking at a completely different rim?

I had these rims actually, sold them to Edmundane. Whatever happened to him?

Also look for Campy Seoul 88 rims; I had a pair of tub version and they are just a later version of the Omega V when they re-named all their rims after Olympic cities.
-
• #18
on the search for them as well but i think they may be even harder to find! i think the later clincher version of the omegas was named after moscow (ive seen them pop up in google as that and moskva) with the tubs reserved just for Seoul.
it looks like, from pistanators photos, that the 'Campagnolo OMEGA 6082 ALLOY T6 black 20mm wide 32, 36h' that campy oldy has listed may be what im after (in black admittedly but im not really in a position to lay down my demands here).
im just a little confused by the myriad of names going around for the rims and also a little worried by the fact that the website states 20mm wide in the description when its doesn't for any other rim. is this normal or are these rims likely to be particularly wider/thinner than others?
The CXP12s also look brilliant but are probably equally as hard to find and maybe a little deeper than the campys?

I just measured mine and they are 23mm deep.
They'll probably be a bit easier to find than the Campagnolos.

I have these wheels which are laced but not tensioned.
Will probably sell the hubs very soon and may be tempted to part with the NOS rims for a sweet, sweet price.
they are beautiful and as you know nearly exactly what im looking for (provided theyre 32h) but i fear for what your definition of a sweet, sweet price is...

I believe BLB had them when I checked a couple of months ago. Can not remember the exact price but somewhere around £100.

A little bit more than your original budget.
Are they tubs or clinchers D?
NOS 32H clinchers.

no, this ones are not aero profiled. I know because I emailed him and he sent me photos some days ago. FTR, I was looking for some Omega Strada Hardox (low profile square box).

the ones you are looking for seem to be Lambda V. there's some info on Campy rims on BikePro
Whilst waiting for my Mack hubs to get made i gave myself a bit too much time to decide on which rims to pair with them and so by the time i had finally decided on omega vs (or lambda stradas, same rim i think just different finish?) there were none left that i could find.
I was relying on campyoldy to have stock as it did whenever i checked the site but it seems they've suddenly run out (as i should have realised tends to happen with NOS parts) and tour de ville only had a single silver one when i popped in about five weeks ago.
so... if anyone has a pair of omega vs lying around, as unlikely as it may be, or if anyone knows where i could find some please let me know. Would rather silver ones but will gladly accept black if they're going and they've got to be 32 hole.
cheers
