Don't worry Balki- alcohol is a great leveller.
And I don't mean a political group given to agrarian policies at the expense of industrialisation or the band which took their name from that movement either.

That's not really what the levellers were about at all. They were, in as much as they were an homogeneous group, concerned with sovereignty, suffrage and more equal treatment under the law.

I was expecting "where the merry hell is this pub?"
We used to call it Merry Hell.
In other news my girlfriend promptly veto'd beers tonight. I have to help her "sort her room out" which means playing tetris with furniture. Yay!

Neil is thinking of the Diggers, I think.
"
In 1649
To St George's Hill
A ragged band they called the Diggers
Came to show the people' s will
They defied the landlords
They defied the laws
They were the dispossessed
Reclaiming what was theirsWe come in peace, they said
To dig and sow
We come to work the land in common
And to make the waste land grow
This earth divided
We will make whole
So it can be
A common treasury for all. " -
