I don't think I have the patience to talk to it - we'd probably just end up having a blazing row, and then it'd never open. And I've spent far too much time crouching on the ground beside my bike, fruitlessly twiddling the key. I actually have two blisters on my index finger.
Anyway, Texas is coming round with his bolt cutters later. Hurrah!
