• A bicycle designed to replicate the riding position of a road racing cycle when ridden with the hands in the dropped position, the said replication of position being achieved with a handlebar fixed to the cycle at the bottom of the bar with the grip portion rising from the cross member, in contradistinction to the classic drop bar where the grip portion descends from the cross member.

    Depending on the frame size and rider position, this may require one or more of the following adjustments to the cycle frame design:

    1: Shortened head tube
    2: Sloping top tube lower at the head tube than at the seat tube
    3: Reduced size front wheel
    4: Attachment of the handlebar to the fork assembly below the lower headset bearing
